01: How are you different from other gift stores?

A: We believe that presentation means everything when it comes to gift-giving. At MyGiftee.com, we give time and attention to every gift and every gift packaging and presentation so that you and your recipients will be wowed every time.


02: How your gifts look?

A: Each assembled gift set is made up of two to seven pieces. Each set is wrapped in printed or solid tissue paper and hand-packed into decorated boxes complete with custom-made greeting cards if was purchased.


03: What is your gift-giving philosophy?

A: At MyGiftee.com., everything we do is done with what we call the Art of Gifting in mind. Our goal is to give you ways to impress your recipients with unique presentations and amazing, memorable gifts and gift sets.


04: How your packaging is different from the usual gift companies packaging?

A: We decorate the boxes with many pretty embellishments accordingly to the gift inside and occasion.


05: How do you customize my greeting card and how it is different than any other?

A: We print your text with your name and the recipients and decorate the full size greeting card with stamps, ribbon or tiny flowers accordingly.


06: How much do you charge for packaging supplies, labor and your custom-made greeting cards?

A: The price depends from embellishment we used, labor time and sises.


07: I love your boxes and packaging supplies. Can I buy just boxes or cards without gifts?

A: Yes, you can go to Boxes or Greeting Cards and chose the greeting card or box, you like!


08: Do you use any toxic materials such as permanent markers, toxic glue, etc. in your gift packaging?

A: No, we use only non-toxic craft and school supplies.


09: Are the gift boxes reusable?

A: Yes, our customers tell us they like to use their gift boxes as boxes for photos, keepsakes and other special items.


10: Do you do use packaging other than boxes?

A: Yes, we also use natural or plastic bins and baskets as well as colorful or pastel fabric containers for our gift packaging.


11: Can I choose and pick my own gift, items?

A: Yes, you can create your own gift set, but you can do this special request only via Email or over the phone.


12: Can I substitute one or more items from the set(s) I have chosen?

A:Our sets are professionally designed by our gift team, and can not be changed, but we can do an exeptation for same of our sets. Please call or email us for special request. .


13: Can I substitute the package or the card?

A: We are happy to substitute packaging and cards of equal value or you can purchase them separately. Contact us with specific questions.


14: Can I eliminate one or more items from the set?

A: No, but we can do an exeptation for same of our sets. Please call or email us for special request.


15: Can I eliminate the package or greeting card?

A: Yes, just contact us. Why would someone even want to do this?


16: Do I get anything instead (gift, credit, etc.)?

A: No.


17: Will my recipient know how much I spent on his or her gift?

A: No, none of our gift sets have price tags or any pricing information on them.


18: How fast do you ship?

A: If it is in stock we ship the same day. We offer a variety of shipping options throughout the U.S. and internationally. You can find shipping information in our shipping policy.


19: What will happen if I did not choose a design option?

A: We will call you or email you with the request to choose the design option and will ship to you that order as soon as we receive your response.


20: How do I know if the gift I want is on its way?

A: You will get the tracking # meaning your purchase has shipped.


21: How do I know it is not available?

A: You will be informed during the checkout process. You won't be able to order items we do not have. There is "Please Call" signet. It means that you can order this item or set via email or phone.


22: How long will I have to wait for a gift that is not currently available?

A: We will contact you with availability information.


23: How do I know my recipient received his or her gift?

A: You will be given the shipping tracking number and will be able to to track your package through delivery.


24: How do I know if my recipient liked his or her gift?

A: Our customers our friends, loved ones and other recipients let them know right away. If not, ask them!


25: What do I do if my recipient did not receive his or her gift?

A: If you are past the window of time for the shipping method you chose, contact us. We will expedite a claim with UPS or the shipping company and ship you a replacement if in stock.


26: What shipping company do you use?

A: Our shipping provider of choice is UPS (see shipping policy)


27: What do I do in case of damaged package?

A: Contact us immediately and we will replace it for you if we have it in stock. An Item can be damaged only during delivery time, because we always check all our items properly before shipment.


28: What are your refund and exchange policies?

A: Our goal is your 100% satisfaction. At MyGiftee.com, we stand behind our products, our service and you, our customer. If, for any reason, you or your gift recipient is not fully satisfied, do not hesitate to let us know and we will exchange it (for your expense) or issue a credit for future use at www.mygiftee.com. Merchandise may be returned only with the prior approval of MyGiftee.com. MyGiftee Shipping Department is responsible for a merchandise inspection prior to the shipment. A full refund may be issued only for damaged product. To request a return, contact us by telephone or e-mail for return or exchange instructions. All the returns must be shipped within 14 days in its original package (unused) with an original greeting card when purchased. For your security, please return your gift with an insured courier (e.g., FedEx, UPS, USPS Parcel Post) and retain your receipt. MyGiftee.com is not responsible for items damaged or lost in transit. If you are returning a gift because it is damaged, defective or not the correct product, MyGiftee.com will provide a prepaid UPS return label. .


29: What will you do to make sure I'm satisfied with my purchase?

A: We take pride in the quality of our products and stand behind every gift that leaves our doors to you or your recipients. To ensure your satisfaction, all shipments are carefully inspected before leaving our warehouse. If you are not satisfied with your purchase upon arrival, please notify us immediately and we will do everything possible to correct the situation.


30: What if I just changed my mind or the gift I received didn't reach my expectations?

A: You can ship it back to us (at your expense) and we will be happy to exchange the gift(s) for you.


31: Will my order(s) be taxed?

A: Sales tax is applicable only to Illinois residents (8.0%).


32: How often do you display new gifts in your store?

A: We add new gifts and gift sets nearly every day!


33: How do you choose tea for your tearoom?

A: We sell only high quality, premium tea.


34: How do I find a specific item or set?

A: Go to "Search" and type your item or set name.


35: How do I send items to multiple addresses?

A: If you are ordering multiple quantities of the same item and wish to send them to different addresses, make sure to add each item to your cart separately. You will be able to specify the different addresses on the Shipping page in Checkout.


36: What will happen if you ship the defective or damaged item?

A: We always check all our items properly before shipment. Product can be damaged only daring the shipping time.


37: Is there a signature required when you ship your merchandise?

A: There is a signature required when the total value of package is $200 and up


38: Will you ship my purchase if my billing address or security code or any other information is not correct or do not match my credit card ?

A: No, we won't ship your purchase till we receive the correct information. In this case we will immediately try to contact you.


39: How to use my gift card?

A: You should choose the gift you want to receive, than press the “Add to cart” button. Check if everything you choose is correct and than press the “Checkout” button. Provide you address and choose the shipping method, than press “Apply” button above the shipping information. After this please, check the total amount, including the price for your gift, shipping charge and tax if it is. Than write your code with @ signet on a front (you can receive your code via email or find it on a back of your gift card) in a “Coupon Code / Promotional Code (optional)” window and press the “Apply” button near this window. Please, use only one code at a time, otherwise the system will show that the code is incorrect. If you have several gift cards, write one code in a “Coupon Code / Promotional Code (optional)” window, press the “Apply” button, than write the code from another gift cart in the same window and press “Apply” button again. Please do not miss the @ signet before each code, otherwise the system will show that the code in incorrect. Carefully check all information one more time and press “Send Order” button. We will ship your gift at the same business day.
